Abstract

PLN main source of power supply from PLN is very influential on electricity supply for the community. Electrical energy from PLN sometimes often occur blackouts. The need for reliable power supply is indispensable to residential consumers, especially in home industries. From these problems, this research is conducted to realize the control system used to transition the power supply with the main power supply from PLN and backup power supply from Uninterruptible power supply (UPS) and Genset. This study produces an automatic power supply transition which has two backup power supplies in the form of UPS and Genset. From the analysis of residential houses that have PLN 450 VA subscription, the system will work with a 12 Volt UPS battery at a current capacity of 28,125 A, and a capacity of Genset 800 VA. The automatic power supply transition system will instruct the UPS power supply to be connected when the PLN main supply is disconnected, after a UPS battery low will command the Genset for the starter, and when the generator is in stable condition the power supply will switch to the power supply Genset. At the time of PLN power supply source again available load will be transferred system to PLN source.

Abstract

Magnetic nanomaterial Fe3O4 has pabricated using coprecipitation methods for 90 minutes with temperatur 60oC . Pabrication product of this sample were coloured black powder. Characterisation of Fe3O4 used Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM). Characterization result studied were density using J-image software. Mixing Fe3O4 powder into liquid waste has goal to determine the level of absorption of Fe3O4 magnetic nanomaterials to heavy metals contained in waste. Particle density has a big potential to absorb heavy metals, especially Pb. At the density level of the densest Fe3O4 particles shows the optimal absorption ability of Pb metal absorbed at a concentration of 0,56 grams with an absorption percentage of 99,99%.

Abstract

Anthocyanin is a dye that plays a role in providing a brownish red color that has the potential to become a natural dye for food and can be used as an alternative substitute for coloring dyes that are safer for health. Textile dyes are divided into two, namely natural dyes and synthesis dyes. Natural dyes come from animals and plants while synthetic dyes can be produced from chemicals Anthocyanins are widely found in plants with striking colors, one of which is teak leaves. Teak leaves are one part of the teak tree which can be used as a source of natural dyes for textiles by extracting the leaves. This research was conducted to obtain color powder from extracts of dyes from fresh teak leaves using the foam-mat drying method. This study was prepared to study the effect of citric acid addition on color intensity and the addition of chicken egg white to moisture content and solubility of color powder of teak leaf extract. To achieve this goal, in this study used fresh teak leaves with 95% ethanol solvent mass. At the beginning of the process, 25 grams of teak leaves are mashed first, then put into a beaker glass and macerated using a 95% ethanol mass of 250 ml and added 10 ml of citric acid from the amount of solvent with a concentration varied for 24 hours. After that filtered, the filter was taken. Powder making was carried out by foam-mat drying method using chicken egg white as foaming and maltodextrin as filler. The filtrate was added with 8% b/v maltodextrin and chicken egg white with the concentration varied stirred in the mixer until homogeneous. Then the oven is dried at a temperature of 60oC until a constant weight is reached. Using 25 grams of fresh teak leaves, 95% ethanol solvent as much as 250 ml, and 8% b/v maltodextrin obtained optimal conditions at 5% b/v egg white concentration and 30% b/v citric acid concentration, with these conditions obtained the powder results with a moisture content of 8% mass, solubility of 99.22% b/v with a reddish level of 16,625, a brightness level of 43,495, and a yellowish level of 5,925. It is hoped that this research can be used as a reference for the development of further research on anthocyanin dye powder which will then be developed as a raw material for dyes for the chemical industry, and textile industry.

Abstract

Alkyd resin are an example of a polymer product formed by the condensation polymerization process. Alkyd has great value when modified with natural oils or synthesis (triglycerides). This study aims to determine the effect of temperature on the mechanical properties of alkyd resin. The research process consists of 4 stages: the extraction process, the distillation process, the alcoholysis reaction and the esterification reaction. The study began by extracting essential oils from dried basil leaves. Extraction is done using n-hexane solvent which will be removed in the distillation process. The alcoholysis begins by reacting basil essential oil with glycerin in a volume ratio of 1:5 at 180oC. Then the esterification step is carried out by mixing phthalic anhydride into a batch reactor with a molar ratio of glycerol:phthalic anhydride 3:2. Then analyze aspects of viscosity, acid numbers, iodic numbers, and colors. The results obtained in the analysis showed a process temperature of 180oC more effectively used for further research processes because of the compatibility of the results with the alkyd resin reference value. The results obtained are 189516 cP viscosity, acid number 6,83935 mg/g, iodic number 1,8935 mg/g, and a dark yellow color.

Abstract

The research area is located in the western part of the East Java Basin which is still a question about the origin of oil in the research area. Data on two oil seepage (Kedung Jati and Galeh oil seepage) and source rock from Rembang-1 drilling wells were tested based on normal alkanes, sterane (m/z 217) and triterpane (m/z 191), then compared to oil seepage and source rock. Oil-rock correlation based on normal alkane distribution, triterpane appearance (m/z 191) and sterane (m/z 217) of two oil seepage and source rock extraction from the Rembang-1 well show a positive correlation about oil seepage and source rock from the Ngimbang Formation, so it is estimated that the seepage of Kedungjati and Galeh oil is produced from the Ngimbang Formation.

Abstract

Gamping Wungkal Formation, middle Eocene to Upper Eocene, which consists of sandstones, sandy marl, claystone and limestone which are the problems of provenance rock, diagenesis and its deposition process. Retrieval of stratigraphic data to determine the deposition process which is divided into several facies and determine its depositional environment, petrographic observations to determine the type of rock, provenance, tectonic settings. Interpretation of tectonic settings of sandstones Gamping Wungkal Formations on QFL diagram plots include recycled orogens, foreland uplift sub-zones while the plot in the QmFLt diagram of the provenance rock is the same as the QFL diagram, which is recycled orogen, sub-zone foreland uplift, rock model from recycled orogen foreland uplift sub-zone. The sandstone diagenesis of the Gamping Wungkal Formation in the study area is included in the mesodiagenesis stage where the compaction or burial process still dominates, the depositional environment in the study area is an area formed in the transitional environment or intertidal flat (Middle tidal flat) and subtidal (Lower tidal flat).

Abstract

Security is a very important aspect of data exchange. Usually, the data in video surveillance is transmitted only for certain parties. The data must accepted to entitled user with maintained confidentiality, and avoid from packet sniffing by others. Therefore, to secure the data in video surveillance, it needs a data encryption method to hide information.SSL (Secure Socket Layer) is reliable for securing a real-time data or video transmission. SSL can be implemented on a webserver that has public hosting. In this study, Zoneminder video surveillance system implemented on the web server, then SSL will encrypt the transmitted data between the Zoneminder server and the client.The results shows that surveillance videos protected by SSL, safe from packet sniffing actions and no degradation on QoS and video quality.

Abstract

The problem that occurs in the cleaning service staff at PT KAI is that besides cleaning the station area, they also have to do other work, such as cleaning trains, filling water in train toilets which should have its own officers. There are still many train passengers who dispose of their waste improperly, thereby increasing the workload of cleaning service officers. Another problem is the lack of division of tasks in each element of work. The number of officers in each shift is also not the same, a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 8 people. The number of officers on the morning and evening shifts is 6 to 8 people, while the night shift is 2 to 3 people. The cleaning service staff works for 8 hours per shift with no break time, resulting in complaints of fatigue of the cleaning service staff. This study aims to analyze the physical and mental workload on the cleaning service staff at PT. KAI Daop VI Yogyakarta using work sampling and NASA-TLX methods. Based on the results of this study it was known that the physical workload of staff on the morning shift was 88.6% (=7.1 hours) and on shift 1 it was 93% (=7.4 hours) for 8 productive working hours. The mental workload of staff on shift 1 was 73.3% and 75.0% on shift 2. This indicated that the cleaning service staff workload was classified as heavy and there was a need to improve the work system. This condition indicates that the cleaning service staff workload is heavy and needs to improve the work system.

Abstract

Yogyakarta is a famous tourist destination city. One of the main destinations of tourists is cultural tourism, such as the palace, sites of cultural heritage, tourist villages and historic relics. One of the historical heritages that should be preserved is the Kampung Prajurit (Warrior Village). There are ten Kampung Prajurit in the Yogyakarta palace, namely Langenastran and Langenarjan, which are inside the castle of the palace, Wirobrajan, Resilience, Bugisan, Patangpuluhan, Suronggaman, Dhaengan, Jagakaryan, Mantrijeron, Prawirotaman, Jageran, Surokarsan and Nyutran who each have their own characteristics and characteristics. each other's uniqueness. Kampung Prajurit are cultural tourism assets that have not been seriously worked on, especially in terms of promotion through information technology and telecommunications. Considering the current use of mobile devices has become so widespread, the use of this media as a means of promoting the Kampung Prajurit is very urgent. Mobile-based applications can be downloaded and used easily through smartphone devices so the use of this facility to introduce Kampung Prajurit as a cultural tourism destination is very much needed. The method that will be used in this study is a qualitative method, including methods of collecting data with literature study and field observations. While the application development is done by prototyping method and application design is carried out based on the Object Oriented Analysis System with UML. While the application development uses the PHP 5.7 programming language and Android Studio 3.2.1.0 using the MySQL Admin. The result of the research is a mobile-based application prototype that will be able to display all information related to history, fashion, bregada and reality videos about activities in the warrior's village. With this application, it is expected that the Kampung Prajurit will be more widely known by the public so that tourist visits to the warrior villages will increase.

Abstract

Storage box has an important function which is often used to store valuables. In general, the locking system in a storage box is still conventional or manual, making it less practical. In addition, the level of security of the storage box must also be good. As a solution to both of the above, then it is necessary to design an electronic lock system in the storage box by using Electronic Identity Card (E-KTP) as the key access. In the E-KTP embedded chip that contains data that is different from one another. So, with these differences E-KTP can be used as a key. This electronic key system utilizes Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology, E-KTP as RFID tags, and Arduino Nano microcontroller. The UID (unique identity) data on the E-KTP will be read by the MFRC522 RFID reader. The data is then used as identification of certain E-KTPs that can be used to access electronic keys (in the form of DC solenoids) in the storage box. The results of the system control and output are in accordance with the plan. The E-KTP registered in the system can be used to access the storage box key. The voltage on the power supply and the Arduino Nano is in accordance with the requirements and in the test, the voltage error is not more than 10%, the MFRC522 RFID Reader is able to read the UID E-KTP data with reading distance 0 mm - 2 mm.
